Join J&T Express at one of the most exciting stages of our growth journey. As we continue to scale rapidly across Germany and Europe, we're looking for a Payroll Specialist to strengthen our HR team. In this role, you'll take ownership of payroll-related processes and work closely with our HR team and external payroll providers to ensure accurate, compliant and efficient payroll operations. You'll also support Compensation & Benefits activities while contributing to the continuous improvement of our payroll processes.
The role is currently based in Kelsterbach. As part of our continued growth, we are planning to relocate our office to Nieder-Olm, near Mainz, around October 2026.
Your Responsibilities
Prepare, validate and coordinate payroll data to ensure accurate monthly payroll processing
Coordinate monthly payroll activities with internal stakeholders and external payroll providers
Review payroll results and support the continuous improvement of payroll quality and processes
Support payroll reporting, reconciliation and data validation
Support Compensation & Benefits processes, including salary adjustments, bonus administration and benefits coordination
Prepare HR documentation and maintain accurate employee records
Work closely with the HR team and external payroll providers to ensure accurate, compliant and efficient payroll operations
Ensure compliance with German payroll regulations, internal policies and statutory requirements
Your Profile
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance or a related field
Experience in German Payroll or Payroll Administration
Experience with Compensation & Benefits is considered an advantage
Strong understanding of German payroll processes and payroll-related legislation
Structured, detail-oriented and reliable working style
Strong communication and organizational skills
Hands-on mindset with the ability to work independently in a dynamic and international Environment
Fluent in German and English; Mandarin is a big plus
